Dieses neue Projekt aus Köln lässt sich inspirieren von Wayne Shorters Werken der 80er Jahre, wie auch jenen Toninho Hortas, Milton Nascimentos und anderer Größen der Musica Popular Brasileira.

Ursula Wienken’s Summit presents itself on this evening for the first time: in sung, half acoustic, half electric music. The peaks of fears and new beginnings are scaled in the bandleader’s songs, and resound through Fender Rhodes and fretless sounds….

This new project from Cologne draws inspiration from Wayne Shorter’s works of the 80s, as well as those of Toninho Horta, Milton Nascimento and other greats of Musica Popular Brasileira.
